Review sites differ in 2 ways that matter here: whether you can connect them yet, and whether a reply can be posted for you or has to be pasted by hand. This page is the one table of both.
The sites
- Facebook. Connects today, through a Facebook Page. Reviews arrive as recommendations, with text and no stars. Replies post to the site: you write or approve a reply here and it appears under the recommendation on Facebook.
- Google. Reviews from your Google Business Profile. Coming soon.
- Trustpilot. Reviews from your Trustpilot profile. Coming soon.
- App Store. Ratings and reviews of your iOS app. Coming soon.
- Google Play. Ratings and reviews of your Android app. Coming soon.
- Custom. Reviews you import or send through the API, for a site we do not connect. Coming soon.
A site marked coming soon shows its tile on the Add a source dialog with a Coming soon label. It cannot be connected yet, and nothing about your account changes when it can.
Posting versus copying
Every site carries one of 2 lines wherever you pick sites, in rules and in agents:
- Replies post to the site. We post your reply through the site's API. You press Post on and the site name, or approve a draft, and the reply is live.
- Drafts only. You copy the reply to the site. The site gives us no way to post for you. The reply is copied for you to paste there, and the review is marked as replied.
The Sites list in an agent's Reach section, each site marked Replies post to the site or Drafts only.
Today Facebook is the one site that posts. The others are marked drafts only until their connection ships with a reply. The line in the app is always the current answer, so trust it over a list you saw before.
The copy flow is in Reply on sites without a reply API.
What this means for automation
- A rule's Reply to the review action posts on a site that takes replies, and writes a draft on one that does not.
- An AI agent posts on its own only on a site that takes replies, only in Auto-reply mode, and only at the ratings in its automatic band. Everywhere else it drafts.
- Private feedback is never posted, on any site.
Stars and no stars
Most review sites give a review 1 to 5 stars. A Facebook recommendation has none: it is a yes or no with text. The difference shows in 3 places:
- A rating filter leaves reviews with no stars out once a rating is set.
- A rule triggered by a rating does not fire on a review with no stars, except a recommendation: a yes counts at 4 and up, a no at 2 and below.
- An agent's rating bands do not apply to a review with no stars. Its mode decides: auto-reply posts, draft mode drafts. A recommendation that does not recommend you always waits for approval.
What we never do on any site
- Post a reply nobody wrote, approved or allowed an agent or a rule to send.
- Change or remove a customer's review.
- Answer private feedback in public.
What this costs
Connecting and collecting reviews is free on every site. Posting a reply by hand and copying one are free too. Automated work costs credits the same way whichever site the review came from. See What uses your credits, under Billing.
