Every new account starts on a 7 day trial with everything Solo-Pro has. You do not need a card to start it. The trial carries its own 5,000 credits for automated work, and collecting reviews, reading them and answering by hand are unlimited and free on it exactly as they are on a paid plan.
The first 7 days
The bar at the top of the app counts the days down and, until you have done them, names the 3 things worth doing first:
- Connect a source, which is what makes the reviews feed fill.
- Answer your first review, meaning reply to one or copy a reply and mark it replied. Reading does not tick this off.
- Create your first rule, which is where the automation starts.
The trial bar with its three setup steps and the days left.
Each step ticks itself off as you do it, and once all 3 are done the bar goes back to being a countdown.
Adding a card
Nothing is charged during the 7 days, and nothing is until you add a card. 2 days before the trial ends we email you a warning. To continue, use Add a card during the trial: it is stored with our payment provider, and when the trial ends the plan starts and the first payment is taken automatically. The bar says which date that is and which plan it will be. If the trial ends within 2 days when you add the card, the plan starts and is charged straight away.
If the trial ends without a card, the plan expires: rules and agents stop, while your data and settings stay. Picking a plan starts everything again on the next review.
The trial bar once the checklist is done, naming the date the plan starts.
You can change which plan the trial turns into from Settings and billing right up to that date. Moving between plans does not shorten the trial, and the plan you are on when it ends is the one you are billed for.
Continue now
Continue now ends the trial by choice and starts the plan today, rather than waiting for the date.
The reason to use it is the credit pool. A trial grant of 5,000 is a small number for a busy account, and continuing early replaces it with the full monthly credits of the plan you picked rather than waiting for a date. The plan moves as soon as the payment clears, which is a few seconds after you confirm.
If you cancel the trial
If you added a card, canceling is what stops the trial converting, and it takes effect at once, ending the trial early. The state is the same as a trial that ended without a card, and it is a real state rather than a nag:
- Automated work stops. Nothing is filtered, no rule fires, no agent replies.
- The paid screens stay visible behind a lock rather than vanishing, so you can see what you set up.
- Nothing is deleted. Your sources, rules, agents, saved replies, team and review history are all kept.
You are never charged for a trial you canceled. While the 7 days are still running you can put it back with Resume trial on the bar, and after that picking a plan resumes everything on the next review. There is no free tier underneath the trial, which is the honest reason processing pauses rather than quietly degrading.
Taking a second trial
1 trial per source. If you try to connect a Facebook Page that already ran one, the picker marks the row and offers Request an exception. A weaker signal, such as a signup sharing an address with a finished trial, connects normally and is flagged for review; the account exists but processes nothing while somebody looks at it. Email support@reviewcomet.com if that happens to you and it should not have. See The 7 day trial.
