A location is one place your business serves customers from: a restaurant, a shop, a clinic, a branch. Each location has its own review sites, its own team access and its own settings. That is what lets a business with 3 branches keep each branch's reviews, numbers and team apart.
Most accounts start with 1 location. If that is you, there is nothing to set up.
The Locations screen listing 3 locations with the number of sources each holds.
What a location holds
Every source belongs to exactly one location, and so do the reviews it brings in. Rules, AI agents, saved replies and the review history sit in the location too. Agents can be pointed at specific locations as well, in their Reach section. See Locations and the settings tabs for what is shared across your locations and what is not.
Adding, editing and removing
Owners and administrators manage locations, as does an agency managing a client's account.
- Add a location from the switcher or the Locations screen. It needs a name.
- Switch between locations from the switcher at the top of the sidebar.
- Remove a location on its Danger zone tab. See Transfer or delete a location.
How many your plan allows
- Solo-Pro: up to 3 locations per account.
- Agency and Whitelabel: no limit on your own locations.
- A client of an agency: whatever the plan their provider sells them allows.
The Locations screen shows how many you use and how many are allowed. At the limit, adding another says so and points at the upgrade. Moving to a smaller plan never removes a location you already have; you cannot add another until you are under the limit again.
Seeing all locations at once
With 2 or more locations, the switcher offers All locations. Reviews, Approvals, Insights and the Overview then add up every location you can reach, and each review shows which location it belongs to. Pick one location to narrow everything back down.
The CSV export and the written report still cover 1 location at a time, and they say which one.
Limiting a team member to some locations
Owners and administrators always reach every location of the account, including ones added later. A manager or moderator reaches only the locations picked for them, and everything else is out of view: other locations' reviews, drafts in Approvals, insights and exports.
- A manager or moderator with no locations picked reaches no location. Pick at least 1 when you invite them.
- An agency gives its staff a client rather than single locations: a client includes all of its locations, also ones added later.
- Changing someone's access takes effect the next time they load a page.
This is the right setup for a store manager who answers the reviews for their own store and should not see the others.
What this costs
Nothing. Locations, and limiting who sees which, are free. Reviews from every location draw on the same credit pool.
