The Notifications tab decides what lands in your inbox and what stays on screen. Nothing here changes what happens to a review, only who hears about it.
Which emails you get
The table lists every type of email the product sends, each with a line saying when it fires. Working through it once is worth more than tuning it later, because the noisy ones are noisy from day one.
These settings are your own. Everybody on the account has their own row of switches, and everybody picks for themselves. Switching something off here affects nobody else, and nobody else can switch something off on your behalf.
The which emails you get table with one switch column, headed Me.
A few emails have no switch at all. Trial notices are the clearest case: they tell you the plan is about to change, so they always go out. Very occasionally a type is switched off for everybody by us, and then the row says so and its switch is grayed out.
The daily digest
The first row is one email a day listing what is still waiting for a person. It is off until you ask for it, and it is not sent on days when nothing is pending, so an empty queue produces no mail at all.
- Open Settings, then Notifications.
- Switch on the Daily digest row.
- Pick a Send time and a Timezone. Both appear under that row once the switch is on.
The daily digest row with its switch on, showing the send time and timezone controls underneath.
The send time is on the hour, and the timezone is yours rather than the account's, so a team spread across 2 countries each get theirs at breakfast. Switching the digest off keeps the time you picked, ready for the day you switch it back on.
The usage threshold alert
The last card is the one that stops a surprise. Warn me at is a percentage: press minus or plus to move it, and we email you once your credit pool is that full.
The stepper starts on the level already in force, which is ours until you pick one of your own. The line under it does the arithmetic, showing the actual number that percentage represents on your plan this cycle. The alert fires once per cycle, not every time you cross back over the line.
It is worth setting because of what happens at zero: automation pauses, while collecting reviews, the feed and everything you do by hand carry on. See When your credits run out, under Billing.
Only an owner or an administrator can move this one. It warns about the whole account's credit pool and is raised once per cycle, so it is a single level rather than one each.
Saving
There is no button. Every switch and menu on this tab saves itself a moment after you move it, and the line beside the card heading says so. Changes take effect on the next event, and nothing already queued is resent, so switching something off does not retrospectively cancel an email that is already on its way.
What is not here
- Browser and mobile push. Everything on this tab is email.
- Per-source notification rules. The settings are per person, not per source.
- Digest content. The digest reports what is pending for the locations you can see, which is set by your location access on the Team tab rather than here.
If the emails are arriving but going to the wrong address, that is the Profile tab: digests, alerts and invoices all follow the email address on your own profile.
