Both moves live on the same screen as your plan, and both are reversible right up to the date they take effect.
What you need: the owner of the account. Where a provider bills you, the buttons below appear only if they gave your account those permissions, and the rest of this article says what to ask them for instead.
Switching plan
Pick the plan you want and confirm. The dialog spells out the change before anything happens: the new monthly price, the new monthly credits, and on a managed account the features you gain or lose.
The plan cards with the current one badged and a switch button on the others.
Moving up applies immediately. The bigger credit pool is available on the spot, any screens the new plan opens are there right away, and the price difference is prorated to the day for the rest of the cycle.
Moving down is scheduled for the end of the cycle you already paid for. Nothing changes before that date, and switching back before it cancels the change entirely. On an agency account the downgrade dialog lists what closes on the date: the client locations, the branding and domain, the rebilling, and whatever is left in the credit pool.
Settings are never thrown away by a switch. A feature that goes away keeps its configuration, so moving back turns it on exactly as you left it.
Canceling
Where we bill you, cancellation lives in the billing portal behind Manage subscription, next to the card and the billing address.
Where a provider bills you and has allowed it, a Cancel your plan card sits at the bottom of the billing screen. It ends at the close of the period you have already paid for, and your provider is told the moment you confirm, so they can reverse it any time before that date. If the card is not there, they handle cancellations themselves: email them and say what you want.
The cancel card naming the date the plan would end.
What happens on the date
- Reviews stop arriving, and your connected sources are disconnected.
- Automated work stops: no rules, no agents.
- The app closes for everyone on the team.
- You are not billed again.
Nothing on the review sites is undone. Replies you or your rules posted stay posted.
Unused credits are not refunded, and neither is a pack. Only a first monthly payment has a refund window.
Before you cancel
2 things are worth doing while the account is still live, because they are much harder afterward:
- Export the reviews you want to keep. The export follows whatever tab and filters you have on, so do it once per view you care about.
- Build and download any report covering the period, rather than assuming the numbers can be rebuilt later.
If the reason to cancel is cost, a smaller plan is usually the better answer: it keeps the reviews feed, the history and the sources in place, and answering by hand stays free on every plan.
